The Maxxis Assegai is Greg Minnaar’s signature downhill and enduro tire, combining tread concepts from the DHR II, DHF, Shorty, and High Roller. It uses alternating vertical knobs, deep siping, and large corner knobs for strong braking and cornering traction. This family includes EXO trail versions, EXO+ reinforced versions, DoubleDown enduro versions, downhill casing versions, tan-wall versions, and an E50 e-bike-rated downhill version.
