Park Tool Chain Whip for Cassettes, Freewheels, and Fixed Gear Sprockets

Park Tool chain whips and sprocket removers are built for cassette, freewheel, lockring, fixed gear, and single speed service. Each tool is designed to hold the sprocket or cassette securely while removing or installing compatible lockrings and freewheel components.

The SR-18.2 is designed for 1/8 inch fixed gear sprockets and single speed cassettes. It features a combination chain whip and freewheel or lockring remover wrench, with a 1 inch box-end wrench that fits Park Tool freewheel and cassette lockring tools. The SR-12.2 is updated for current 12-speed drivetrains and works with 5- to 12-speed road and mountain bike cassettes and freewheels. The SR-2.3 is the heavier-duty option, with a heat-treated head, hardened bolts, and a round vinyl coated handle.

Choose the SR-18.2 for fixed gear and single speed use, the SR-12.2 for general 5–12 speed cassette service, or the SR-2.3 for a heavier-duty shop-quality chain whip.
